The first of its kind in the PeeDee, Bethea’s new Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation is structured around households with a residential design built for residents' privacy and well-being. With comfortably sized living spaces and private bedrooms, residents truly feel at home.
The household model follows resident directed living. Just like home, residents choose how to spend their time. They get up as they wish, eat when and what they want, bathe when and how they prefer, participate in activities as they choose, host their family and friends as they desire, and go outdoors as they please on grounds designed with their safety in mind. It’s just like living at home, but with more supportive care so family can just be family without the added responsibility of serving as full-time caregivers too.
Residents decide what they want to eat, portion size, where and when they want to eat, and who they want to eat with, just as they have always done. Residents can also host others in the household or a private dining area.
Our wellness approach allows residents to partner with their physician and the clinical leader in their household to actively engage and participate in all decisions regarding their care.
